Well by now Rod I’m suspect you think you know the reason we’re using this blog to help your opponent. Although you may think it has to do with January 1, it doesn’t. It has to do with the fact that your deputies refused to take a burglary report and make an arrest when it was so clearly warranted—you know, unlawful entry into a dwelling to commit theft or any other felony. I have talked to at least a half dozen attorneys (because, yes, you and the county are being sued) and they are flabbergasted that the Sheriff”s Department would not take a report under such circumstances, thus causing me to lose $20,000 or more in property. Any other citizen would have received proper service, but I’m special. You think you have the right to use your position to revenge your friends, such as Mark Uffer and Mike Ramos. And I do have the right to use my blog to see that you are not elected to a new term.

Now that I’ve looked at your campaign forms, I guess I know why I was given the treatment I was. I remember the discussion I had with the detective and lieutenant about the blog and one looked at the other and said, “I’m glad I’m not political.” And the other replied, “I’m glad I’m not either.” Lo and behold, guess who is on your list of campaign contributors? Gee, if it isn’t the detective and lieutenant that were supposed to calm the waters. So, once again you’ve given me “special” treatment, haven’t you?

For anyone else who would like to look at the Sheriff’s 460, here it is: Rod Hoops(Com. to elect 1317829) 460sos 2-1-2010 There are some interesting contributors. For one, San Manuel has contributed a lot, both as a tribe and as the individual tribal leaders/families. There is a lot of union money there including $25,000 from the Safety Employees Benefit Association. Didn’t they accept a lot of Colonies Settlement money through a political action committee? Of course, Mike Ramos’ campaign gave you $2500—the most corrupt politician in San Bernardino County. You know what they say about dirty hands?

Then there is $100 from Cara Hutson, one of the stupidest judges on the bench. And Earl Carter and James Spring from the conflict panel gave you $1000. Why does this seem so wrong?

But my favorite is your payment of $10,000 to Delta Partners, aka Dave Ellis, one of the slimiest campaign managers around who seems to be attempting to possibly dissuade Paul Schrader from running? Or what is his purpose in calling your opponent? All I can say is if you paid him to write your candidate statement for the voter’s pamphlet, get a refund!!! That is the worst candidate statement I have ever read!!! If he wrote it, seriously I would question whether or not he is purposely trying to tank your campaign. It’s that bad. Here it is for those who want to read it: RodHoops From what I understand it cost around $31,000 to have a statement in the voter’s pamphlet for a countywide race. You did not get your money’s worth for sure.

I have been involved with too many other things lately to pursue either of these issues, but since both bands of Indians contribute heavily to the political process in San Bernardino County it is time to return to the subject.

One of the accusations I hear frequently is about the number of deaths on these reservations that are overlooked or covered up. No wonder considering the amount of gifts and contributions made to county officials, including the District Attorney.

If anyone would like to shed additional light on the subject of deaths on the reservations, political action by the tribes, mafia connections, and all the rest of the crime on the reservations, please contact me at sharon@iepolitics.com. It’s time we expose what is really going on and which of our politicians have been bought and paid for by gambling monies.

Jim made me laugh this morning and doesn’t even know it. I’ve come to the conclusion that having separate blogs is a good thing. Our overall mission is the same, and we share most of the same targets. But we both have our “special” people or organizations that need our “special” attention.

For me, for example, my newest target is San Manuel. Those who have known me for years know I have a special place in my heart for Native Americans. It goes back to when I was 8 years old and my family moved to Tucson from Eagle Rock. Even at that age I realized the disparate treatment of Native Americans. Tucson at the time was almost in a depression and the poverty on the reservations rivaled any third-world country. Anyway, I’ve spent my share of time on reservations since and love the culture. If I had my choice right now I would be living near the Navajo Reservation in Arizona or the Zuni Reservation in New Mexico.

That being said, even Native Americans make mistakes, and San Manuel has made a big one recently. So they may get some advertising to all 20 listeners, but they are also going to get some not-so-nice press read by all 20,000 plus readers.

Jim, has his own personal reasons, of course, for some of what he does on his blog. Those on my radar are not necessarily on his radar and vice versa. Today there is on such post on his blog, and I found it humorous. Here is his post:

The California Secretary of State has published the list of debtors who owe a combined total of $888,730 in various penalties for failing to file campaign finance related documents. The fines go into the state’s general fund and it wants the money.

Final notices are being issued.

Nearly one-eighth is owed by the Sacramento County Democratic Central Committee.

However, some local names showed up.

A list published bt the Sacramento Bee lists the following local individuals and entities as owing penalties.

Pay up folks……..

Rank Debtor Accrued Penalty

  5 Richard A. Lewis $12,191

37 David Lewis $ 5,600

Inland Valley Development Agency $ 220

             SEIU - Riverside $ 220

iePolitics is starting a series examining the influence of Indian gaming on politics and crime in San Bernardino County. We will detail its involvement with organized crime and the Mexican Mafia, the preferential treatment by San Bernardino County officials, and their political activities through political action committees, as well as report on some of the “incidents” involving the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians that go unreported by mainstream media.

Among the topics will be the relationship between Tribal Chief James Ramos and District Attorney Mike Ramos, the chaos with the tribal police whose captain happens to be the wife of Safety Employee Benefit Association President William Abernathie, and incidents with the Gaming Commission, most recently involving a physical assault by Tom Ramos, James’ brother.

In the past three decades the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians has gone from operating a quiet bingo parlor to a raucous casino and powerful force in San Bernardino County Government. Few county politicos have been left untainted by the money and power the tribe represents and utilizes to further its influence in shaping the outcome of criminal investigations as well as many other aspects of life in the San Bernardino Valley.

Colonies Partners and Lewis Homes may very well rule the west end of San Bernardino County for now but in the ways of coverup and illegal activity is dwarfted by the influence of San Manuel in the east end which continues to expand westward. Some have said “San Bernardino” should be renamed “San Manuel.” Once the series is concluded, you decide if that is a fair assessment.
