iePolitics: Different judge, different ruling

Today’s Press Enterprise articles on the POST scandal report two very interesting rulings.  First, Judge Brian McCarville ruled that the media could be present and take photographs.  Specifically, he said that the defendants are public figures with limited expectations of privacy.  Strike one against cops who think they can hide behind their badges and POBR and every other obsticle they throw up to keep their crimes out of the public view.
