I did not see Mr. Garcia’s comment below about doing an episode on iePolitics until after I posted his email and video. That reminded me that I never got back to Scott Markovich and Wayne J.R. Bowser about being on their show on KCAA. It was my intention to give them a date for this month. Unfortunately, getting to San Bernardino has been a major problem for me, especially for the past few months.

I have always preferred to remain behind the scenes. Those who know me well know that I am basically very shy. The blog is an alter-ego that is meant to be entertainment, therapy, and a place to vent. I think we perform a service for many but at the same time it does not define me as much as many try to use it to do so.

By posting this I already know that Brad, Megan, Zook and others will contact these people to let them know they do not want to feature iepolitics because I am nothing but a disgruntled county employee who is suing the county. When I am allowed, I will have a few stories to tell about the extremes these three have gone to to keep me unemployed and with no money. There are things happening behind the scenes so I am not worried about any of them as I fully expect two or three of them to be criminally charged before the end of the year.

However, even with that being said, do I really want to put myself through any more of their crap in order to add some additional readers? I’m just wondering how some of you feel about expanding our readership through participating in shows such as this.

Do you swear or affirm that the testimony you are about to give is the truth?

Some defendants in the civil corruption cases have started receiving depo notices. Bill Postmus, Jim Erwin, Greg Eyler, Rex Gutierrez, and Adam Aleman are all named in the lawsuit.

In response, the defense is sending similar notices to specific members of the Board of Supervisors, their current/former chiefs of staff and other current and past staffers who are familiar with time card fraud and campaign work on county time. Let the fireworks begin as the county’s hypocrisy is made public for all to see, that is if those depo’d tell the truth. We shall see.

The positive side to this is that because the defendants are facing criminal prosecution, they will be able to plead the Fifth Amendment during the depositions. However, the board members, et al., will not have such rights. The depo’s will be videotaped.

So far the county has paid out $514,085.66 in attorney’s fees and costs to pursue the civil cases and they are still a very long way from the trials. It is highly unlikely they will collect anything other than what Mike Richman, one of the defendants, agree to pay back.

We expect the depo list soon and will publish it as soon as those being deposed are notified.

I finally had a chance to meet with Traci Dean and her friend tonight. We compared Brad Mitzelfelt and David Zook stories. Our stories are very similar in terms of the runaround we have both been given by Brad and David.

Traci pointed out something interesting that I had never noticed. Although I went to his old Mariposa Road office several times, I never noticed that he did not fly the American flag. Well Traci noticed it. And Brad refused to budge.

Traci finally presented him with a flag, or should I say she presented it to David because Brad was hiding. Two months later he still had not flown the flag at his office.

We hear the new building has one outside but the supervisor’s office is still without a flag. Am I surprised? Of course not. If it doesn’t benefit Brad, he doesn’t care.

was found here: Zook

I happen to be very familiar with network marketing, multi-level marketing, and various other schemes that come out of Salt Lake City/Provo and have been so for a couple of decades now. If you ever receive an invitation through the mail to attend a seminar at a hotel on making money and you trace the company back to its origins, likely it will be based out of Utah.

I’ve been involved in quite a few in my lifetime, mostly when I was young and stupid. If you get in early, there is some money to be made. But mostly they are Ponzi schemes or close to it and those that prosper are those that own the companies (or are hidden partners).

So, this photo totally caught my attention. And so did one comment under it: “1to1Network Is the Only Marketing Company Endorsed and Supported By the County of San Bernardino to present and teach successful Social Media Marketing Strategies.” Hmm . . . San Bernardino County endorses and supports this?

Well, that got me to look at the actual website: 1to1Network The president of 1to1 Network Advertising is Michael Mollenhauer, a graduate of BYU. The creative director is Craig Mecham, also a graduate of BYU.

We have been hearing numerous stories about how those who get the First District to help, get it. We are really starting to wonder how much truth there are to those stories.

First District Chief of Staff David Zook is a resident of Salt Lake City, Utah. His wife and children live there full time and he commutes from there to serve as Supervisor Brad Mitzelfelt’s right-hand man.

Zook is the highest paid Chief of Staff. At $242,403, he earns over $25,711 (more than the annual salary of some county employees) more than the next highest paid chief. We guess he needs it for all that commuting.

We also guess it is one of the reasons why First District staff are so inaccessible to constituents and why an audience with Mitzelfelt is a “once in a lifetime opportunity.”

We are told Zook was working three days a week but that got bumped up to almost four after complaints. Zook argues that he can do his job from anywhere. That’s why he has been working on my situation for about 110 days with no results—a situation that should have taken ten minutes to resolve.

Well, maybe he is right. He’s doing a very good job at assuring his boss is defeated in 2012.

Traci Dean’s comment on another story reminded me about a story I had planned on researching and writing about 100 days ago. I was given information similar to what she is claiming from a very reliable source. In trying to make peace with David Zook and Brad Mitzelfelt, I held off on the story for a few days and then totally forgot all about it until today.

What I have been told is that Mitzelfelt has sent about $600,000 their way and the money is being used as a slush fund to pay family members of the directors. I was told there is a lot of abuse.

In all fairness, Zook told me he would go with me out there and I could examine the books. Somehow, I don’t exactly think that offer still stands. Besides, he chastised me for wanting to harm one of the only children’s programs in the area. I’m all for helping kids but not for lining the pockets of political friends with taxpayer money.

So, does anyone have a clue where to start with this story? What do non-profits have to reveal and where should I start looking?

I am going to do a CPRA request Monday to find out exactly how much in taxpayer funds Mitzelfelt has given them. But I’m not sure how to go about tracking down abuse.

If anyone has experience dealing with reporting requirements of non-profits, I would appreciate it if you would contact me at iepolitics2010@gmail.com.

I was not kidding about the blackmail and quid pro quo I have experienced with the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors. It seems few on the Fifth Floor realize they are P U B L I C S E R V A N T S. That means you do what is right for the public because it is the right thing to do, not because they give you campaign money or write nice things about you.

Traci, I did not get anything from you for the blog. Try sending it to me again. And I would like to meet you when you have time to compare notes. I suspect we are not even close to the only ones that are being dealt with harshly by the First District because we refuse to play by their rules.
