It seems I have upset more than Dr. Leslie Boozer and her attorney. Raza Fontana, a small group that includes Fontana Unified School District Board of Education President BarBara Chavez, thinks I should be more interested in investigating the former superintendent, the Fontana City Manager, and the Fontana Chief of Police. It is Chavez who helped recruit Boozer and it is Chavez who signs off on many of her expenses. I have been sent tips that I should also be looking at Chavez’ expenses.
Long-time readers know I spend a great deal of time writing about the city of Fontana. And although I believe there are issues with Fontana City manager Ken Hunt and Chief of Police Rod Jones, when no one will go on the record to support their allegations, it is hard to get much accomplished.
On the other hand, there is the Fontana Unified School District where one brief mention in an article has triggered dozens of tips along with a great deal of documentation. I may have suspicions about things at the city; I have proof at the school district.
Along those lines, I’m working on a half dozen future stories. If anyone has any information about the following topics, please email it to me or use the Contact Us button at the top of this blog. I still have not found time to respond to many of you, but I’m working on it.
I am not putting much out there as to what I am looking for as I feel if someone has the information, they are going to know exactly what I’m asking and there will be less hearsay to wade through. Here is my list of future topics:
- Long Beach
- BFF Principal
- Co-Author Books
Also, I have received several emails from both teachers and parents claiming that there is fraudulent use of LCAP monies (not sure I have the lingo correct). I’m trying to check that out but I need to know the name(s) of the schools involved and any other information you know.
