I am running for Superior Court Judge in San Bernardino County. I am a Family Law Attorney with a wide array of experiences including filling in for Judges as a Substitute Judge the past ten years.
I would love to meet with you and explain my credentials and platform for this campaign. You can email me at elmontgomery@cs.com, telephone my office at 909-423-0433, or stop by my office in San Bernardino. I am usually in the office in the afternoon and it would be best to call first to set up an appointment. I am always willing to meet with you at your office if that would help.
Ed Montgomery
I have been writing for the Sentinel since June of 2009. However, you will no longer be seeing my byline in the Sentinel. Last week, editor Mark Gutglueck lambasted me with the accusation that I had facilitated conservator Melodie Scott getting her long sought after license (an issue I had been covering for the Sentinel) because I had “demoralized our friends in Sacramento” so thoroughly that they simply wandered into the Bermuda Triangle of moral turpitude and unwittingly gave Scott that fiduciary license. Upon further questioning, “our friends in Sacramento” referred to those in government who had facilitated Scott getting that license. In other words, by covering the story and rooting out the corrupt practices going on behind the scenes, I somehow “causied” this to happen. At least that what was Gutglueck was running with. You got it. I quit. It has been a pleasure to cover a story that no one seems to want to touch. And now, that appears to include Mark Gutglueck and the Sentinel.
JP, sorry to hear about the parting of the ways with MG and the Sentinel. Looks like they don’t have much left anyway after last weeks 4 pg. newsletter. I’ve been telling him for awhile that he needs to expand his scope of journalism, instead of just focusing on the San Bernardino local government bad boyz. When he did the expose in the Sentinel on Rizzo’s past and his IE connection after the Bell corruption scandal broke, I thought he was starting to come around, but no, he continues to hold back many punches on info from Bell and other corruption invested organizations. I’ve found that similar to Cassie McDuff with the PE and definitely Joe and the gang with the Sun/ Facts/ Bulletin, Mark is timid (just like the rest of them) when it comes to printing the really hot corruption stories.
Lets face it Janet, the Sentinel is better off without you. I was blessed by the misfortune of hearing a radio broadcast of in Tulsa OK. I was convinced that you had lost your mind. Not more than two weeks latter I picked up my Sentinel to see you had done a article for them. I really thought the Sentinel was done. However they always come through with some hard hitting material. You could never find that in Sun, Bulletin or any of those censored papers. Anyway I have asked around about you Janet, I hear you expect people to jump through hoops, and then scream how the people that bent over backwards for you, somehow did you wrong. Janet were ever you are, you could always write a fantasy book. I looks like you are quick to bash someone because they told you something you did not want to hear. So twist what info you have into that unstable brain of yours and go to Disneyland and check out Fantasyland.
Janet I heard you on the radio once, and I said to myself ” this is one crazy broad”. A few weeks latter I pick upped my Sentinel and saw your article that you contributed. I thought for sure the Sentinel was over. However the Sentinel always amazed me with their hard hitting in depth reporting. Whoever this Mark G is, He nails it! Janet sometimes people will tell you things you do not want to hear, it is up to you not to bash the people that helped you in your own personal crusade. I enjoy reading the Sentinel. Hey Mark G can you add some sudako puzzles.
Little Stevie Wonder,
I see where you are involved in ACT. I would like to run a couple of questions by you. Can you email me? Easiest way to do this is through my website…Thanks.
What has happened to the Sentinel. Their phone number has been disconnected and is no longer in service, their email account has been “temporarily suspended” and they no longer leave a stack of Sentinels at Cable Airport.
