Friday evening the Rialto Police Department conducted a major raid at RCO Auto Repair in the unincorporated area of Fontana, Calif. During the raid, law enforcement officials found a large quantity of NOS canisters, marijuana, a firearm, and two customers under the influence of Nitrous Oxide (NOS). They made two arrests.
RCO Auto Repair allegedly sells NOS illegally all times of the day and night. Locals say there are times when there is a line of customers waiting to fill up their NOS tanks. They say up to this point law enforcement drove by without concern for what is going on at the business. The business is in the jurisdiction of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
The business owner was not present during the raid. According to San Bernardino County Recorder-Clerk Fictitious Business Name records, RCO Auto Repair is owned by Rafael Sandoval. He has owned the business since 1991. San Bernardino County Assessor’s records show an unpaid tax lien against Rafael Sandoval and RCO Auto Repair in 2014. However, those close to the investigation tell Examiner.com the business is operated by a Cris Sandoval. It is not clear what relation Cris is to Rafael.
