Guest Editorial: First District and the Poison Politics of Robert Lovingood

Supervisor Bob

Dear Sharon

It is with great joy that the East Mojave received the news of the political diminishment of our much troubled First District Supervisor, thuggish and nasty right to the end if reports are correct.

For a sitting First District Supervisor to be stood up at the altar is truly remarkable and indicative  of much needed change coming to the Mojave Desert.

Here at iepolitics we have long and painful experience with the shenanigans at First District and we have consistently lead the fight against Robert Lovingood.

And an easy fight it has been indeed, there exists a palpable sense of toxicity to almost every action or statement from Robert Lovingood, thuggish behavior discounting appearances leads to embarrassments such as losing the endorsement of your party.

Here at iepolitics we believe that, even in today’s mixed up world, that voters do indeed make moral judgements as to the character of candidates and it is in this area that Robert Lovingood’s true nature quickly surfaces.

Nowhere has Robert Lovingood shown his true colors more freely than in his dealings with the much troubled City of Needles, not enough votes to matter and a good ol’ boy environment to boot leads to zero leadership.

After a while, certain patterns become discernible, and Robert Lovingood’s main strategy in life apparently is the use of bullies to accomplish his desired end.

Appearances do matter greatly, for our Supervisor to openly shun the City of Needles but routinely drive to Needles and hold secret meetings with an illegal trust speaks volumes as to Robert Lovingood’s mindset, it’s elitist and it’s ugly.

It’s akin to a slap in the face of the Citizens of Needles, failure to speak at even one Needles City Council Meeting but at the same time holding many private meetings with Janet Jernigan, Linda Kidd and Terry Campbell of the Needles Downtown Business Alliance.

Needles is the worst case scenario in San Bernardino County, but oh well, throw up your hands and give up, that is Robert Lovingood’s method, but Robert never tried. Never spoke a word…..when you fail to try you don’t have to explain your failure, except on election day.

Iepolitics routinely stands up and has proven to be the driving force in East Mojave politics, quickly displacing our thuggish Supervisor Robert Lovingood.

God Bless You Sharon

  1. Nowhere has Robert Lovingood shown his true colors more freely than in his dealings with the much troubled City of Needles, not enough votes to matter and a good ol’ boy environment to boot leads to zero leadership.

You didn’t mention his lack of representation for the people of Havasu Lake, south of Needles. He has consistently sold them out and he has a bad habit of not representing the people he is supposed to represent.

How can we trust him if we don’t know what he is doing? Simple, “You Can’t”.
