Second annual marijuana festival set for June

If you are looking for a “lifestyle festival” that is open to all ages, the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors has the perfect event for you at its San Manuel Amphitheater in Devore.  Blaze ‘N’ Glory returns to the venue on June 4 from 2 p.m. until 11 p.m.

The festival features a variety of musical acts, craft beer concessions, food trucks, and a fully interactive midway with carnival rides and games of chance.  And, of course, cannabis.

Festival headliners include the son of Bob Marley, Stephen “Ragga” Marley, who will perform contemporary Reggae, R&B, and Reggae-Pop hits, and Nas, a hard-core rapper from New York City.  Other acts on the bill are Atmosphere; GRiZ,  a funk and electric music artist; Prof;  Hirie; Seedless; Radical Something; Black Salt Tone; and the  Indie-Rock band The Growlers, out of Dana Beach.

    • Exactly. I think this is so damn outrageous. The site specifically says there is no age limit except in the craft beer section. It does suggest leaving kids at home that would not enjoy this kind of event. They are having a Midway. You think that is not to attract families with children?

  1. The current BOS have lost their minds. Not surprising since Lovingood and Joe Brady were seen recently hitting the bong together.

    • That would be true of just about any concert anywhere. I think the only concerts I’ve been to where no one was seen abusing drugs or alcohol was Contemporary Christian concerts held in a church.

There is a big difference between concert-goers bad behavior and the county being a part of a festival that advocates for illegal drug use and does so including children.

Lovingood was the third vote to allow raves. He sided with the dems and against the reps on the BOS. Shows where his loyalties are. Also makes one wonder if the recent rumors about his own drug use are true. I doubted it at first, but that rumor is all over the place these days.
