The First District candidate forum in Oak Hills scheduled for April 7, 2016, is rescheduled to Thursday, May 5, 2016, due to unforeseen circumstances. The four challengers have agreed to the change in dates and will be on hand to meet with residents.
The forum is sponsored by the Oak Hills Property Owners Association. It will take place beginning at 7 p.m. in the Oak Hills Community Building (County Fire Station #40) located at 6584 Caliente Rd., Oak Hills, Calif.
The incumbent, Supervisor Robert Lovingood, has so far declined to debate any of his challengers or attend any community forum where they will be present. Instead he has opted to make solo appearances, paid for by the taxpayers rather than out of campaign funds, in various communities around the district, thus not allowing his opponents to challenge his record.
