Former SBCo. board chairwoman attempts power grab from current chairman

There is a curious item on tomorrow’s San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors agenda.  It is Item No. 82.  The matter was placed on the agenda by Supervisor Janice Rutherford.  The description reads as follows:

Discuss adopting/implementing “Rosenberg’s Rules of Order” as the general guidelines for conducting meetings of the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors.

According to the agenda item:

“First published in 1876, “Robert’s Rules of Order” is the most commonly adopted parliamentary authority in the United States. “Rosenberg’s Rules of Order” is a more concise and up-to-date rules of procedure that is used by more than 40 California agencies. The rules provide the framework by which governmental and non-governmental groups can efficiently and fairly discuss and take action on issues.
