As a result of this hearing…….and 1,000 pages of reports, I read things like dogs jumping out of windows of one vacant house, into the kennel with 3 other pits who immediately started killing it. ANIMAL CONTROL observed the cage beginning to come apart and ran for their lives out of the yard……But they’re “in compliance” said Beck. About that same time frame, animal control was again there, when they found a pit bull, tied to a wall in the well shed, with 6 to 8 piles of feces and 2 spots where she tried to dig out,…….WITH A BROKEN JAW, being hidden from the officers there……supposedly, someone tied the dog to their fence (of a vacant home) because she is a “rescue” (that breeds the rescue dogs also) and she was going to have it put down (when???). Animal Control, LEFT the dog there all day and threatened to write her up for cruelty if the dog wasn’t handled by the end of the day. According to what I read, animal control officers also allowed this dog to continue to suffer until they came back at the end of the day, impounded the dog and euthanized it on the spot……..NO CITATION…It gets better…….After living next door to a “dog pound” on both sides of me, I was then attacked by 2 pits bulls from one of the vacant homes, while riding my horse. We ran about 1/2 mile with 2 pits on our tail (youtube see chased by pit bulls on Metzelfelts video singing his own praises for the “new spay and neuter law” that will help weed out irresponsible owners….bla, bla,bla…..My beautiful horse I’ve owned for 9 years, is now permanently unridable (I retired and moved here to ride my horses) and this has just broken my heart. My wonderful Cowboy, ran, screaming, trying to keep me afloat while pit bulls are biting him and trying to get ahead of us and lunging at his throat. I will NEVER forget this horrible several minutes of my life.
Animal control lied about the dogs and attempted to cover this up. They wouldn’t take pictures of the dogs, wouldn’t let me see the dogs to identify them, and advised them to put locks on the cages (which they were doing while I’m on the ground with the paramedics and my animal had just emerged with many wounds from fighting the pit bulls after I fell off trying to hit one that bit him in the shoulder with my reins). These dogs hadn’t been visited for about 4 days either. Animal control gave them time to shore up the kennels, put locks on and tops on and reported they all had collars and tags and locks on the cages and no way was it their dogs,,,,,,,,,.until I saw the dog on my “accidental” video during the chase.
Must have had an angel on my shoulder that day. My camera turned on and off 3 times that I didn’t even know of……and I got a picture of one of the dogs..

Went to small claims court on this and guess who’s testifying on behalf of the dogs?? ANIMAL CONTROL……..

.I didn’t mention the horses she continued to starve over there, that kept breaking out and split his knee open running the neighborhood, the pig and goat that went “missing” and if I didn’t try to help those poor animals, no one was going to, It goes on and on and on, and thankfully, finally coming to a close. Although my life is altered forever as we have not since left our yard, my wonderful horse that I now need to medicate for pain as he ran the cartilidge out of 3 ankles and is permanently crippled, care for him every day and just cry because he didn’t deserve that. He saved my life when he took the dogs with him after I fell off at a full gallop. I then lived with these dogs on both sides of me for another 2 months.

By design, these dog owners own nothing in their names, don’t have collars and tags on the dogs and deny, deny and lie and lie and animal control condones this
horrific situation. This is only one part of the many varieties of abuse, neglect and irresponsibility animal control keeps ignoring…………and allowing to continue.
They don’t care about the animals or their welfare or they would have done something by now, and certainly not turned against me for trying to help animals.

If the mentally ill cannot own firearms……….WHY CAN THEY KEEP ALL THESE PIT BULLS??? Brian Cronin was also made aware of this, as was the Grand Jury, Attorney General, Supervisor Mitzelfelt, Devereaux……..and NO ONE WILL DO ANYTHING. Grand Jury kept it for 3 years before telling me that they “were unable to help” and to get a lawyer………yep, that’s justice at it’s finest.

Well, animal control, know this, I WILL NEVER, EVER IGNORE AN ANIMAL IN NEED OF HELP AND NEITHER SHOULD YOU. THAT’S WHAT WE PAY YOU FOR.

For the last 6 years, it’s been battle after battle, first it was paintball, then pit bulls and now my life is altered. Just because I can read the codes, I SHOULDN’T HAVE TO BE THE ONE TO TEACH THEM TO YOU. I can only imagine what goes on at the shelter if this goes on in our neighborhoods. The good old boys club keeps on rolling along, refusing to enforce the laws we all are supposed to live under.

And SHARON, I do not want to bring up a sore item for you, but the suspects dog was destroyed because the Deputy, who illegally arrested the suspect, had the dog picked up by animal control even though he was cite released within 2 hours. Mind you, the Deputy KNEW prior to actually booking the suspect, the listed property owner stated the suspect had limited access and possessed a house key. Further, on the stand per testimony, this deputy cheese (Schroeder) stated he did not even recall what he did with the key to the residence. Destruction of evidence which might lead someone to believe the suspect is innocent? y FELONY? Oh bye the way, that charge was dismissed….

And just in case your too lazy, or too much of a lying company man, I’ll give you the low down on the purpose of the lighter per his testimony. He stated his reasoning was simple, if the guy was really trespassing, which his PARTNER was stating, the lighter was one of SEVERAL ITEMS that appeared to be out of place, ie 496PC. He was establishing ownership of several newer items, such as a power generator, tools, etc etc,in a vacant house, which had no water or electricity or gas. If you can’t figure that out, stay behind your desk, and keep on keeping on with those crappy Titans.

The furniture deal might also be explained away by the female deputy being a cutie, and someone’s punch board. That generally has something to do with dispositions of cases around here.

We can talk about Sergeant Chris Elvert’s no so long ago incident where he chased a retired SBSD Sergeants daughter on a little FTY (failure to yield) that turned out to be DUI, then attempted to pass that off to Hesperia Deputies cause he didn’t want to deal with what he started in the first place.

True to form for Elvert doesn’t want to step in his own mess, so he tried to get someone else to clean it up, so his name might not be attached to it.

As I was told, someone pretty much told him, “you catch it you clean it”.

But that’s strike two for Elvert playing in Hesperia and being STUPID and hasn’t been taken to task yet. Both incidents less than a year ago.

We can talk about years ago, a couple years ago, or recent. It ALL stinks and is noteworthy.

But don’t come in here and make it sound like everything is OLD news when there is more than enough new news, and some if it is serious stuff.

But as a police officer one would have to ask themselves “Why is this guy giving me two rooms of furniture for free”? And as a police officer you might also want to ask yourself “Would he do this for other people that are not police officers”?

I really do have a problem with someone taking anything of value from someone when others are expected to pay for the same item.

Tellthetruth I do understand that these issues happened a long time ago. Now I do not know Boros but in my opinion he was treated unfairly. Citing the above issues show that he was arrested for a theft when there was not one, just like the deputy taking the furniture, and she kept her job and he got fired. And as Fassari says the taking of the hamburger, no matter how small of an item, was theft and that guy today is still employed by the department and is in SWAT. Does this mean that Boros can expect to come back to the department and get transferred to SWAT also?

When I was a PD, speaking with family members about their child’s case was almost always difficult. They were going through a traumatic experience and were naturally very emotional. It didn’t help that public defenders have a completely undeserved rap for being railroading non-attorneys. I had many conversations in which the families were so traumatized that my words would get distorted, the information I was trying to convey was not being heard, and that nothing I could say would convince the family otherwise of what they had already decided. The families would take the side of their son, as they should. But many times that meant they had decided that the attorney was the enemy when they were anything but.

I’m sorry that your family is going through such an awful time. I wish you peace in the new year.
