Residents of the Fourth Council District in the city of Angels have a chance tomorrow to elect an angel for the animals, wild and domestic, living in Los Angeles. David Ryu is running for the seat being vacated by Councilman Tom LaBonge. If elected to the Los Angeles City Council, Ryu says he wants to make Los Angeles a “greener and more humane place.”
The Fourth Council District is home to Griffith Park, which at 4,210 acres, is the “largest municipal park with urban wilderness area in the United States.” The Los Angeles Zoo is one of many attractions located within Griffith Park.
