Seems like San Bernardino County Sheriff Rod Hoops took matters into his own hands regarding the Narc in Palm Springs who beat up his tweaker girlfriend. Hoops made a few calls the rumors are and last week the Riverside District Attorney’s Office refused to file charges on the narcotics officer. The reason that was given: mutual combat. So, instead of dropping charges against the dick, why weren’t charges filed against both? How amazing!
Maybe the same district attorney in Riverside that seemed to get this done within two weeks should review the POST report. Maybe with a little assistance from Supervisor Neil Derry the same district attorney would be assigned this case and it would not take five months to review. Oh I’m sorry. Neil said that he talked to Sheriff Hoops and he was assured that it was being handled.
Now the officer is still assigned to narcotics with a county take home car and, being that no charges were filed, no internal investigation is being done. With any luck maybe he can find another girlfriend at a search warrant that is kicking the heroin habit or cocaine habit. And maybe they will allow him to take home urine test kits so they can check on her once a week.
I sure can’t say that Hoops and the Riverside DA has any connections, don’t know. But I think I said before that the Chief of Police of Palm Springs, Dave Dominguez and Hoops are old West End patrol Deputies.
No criminal charges filed, NEVER stopped anyone with stars and bars in SBSD from doing an internal investigation on ANYTHING..
AH yes the old, “mutual combat” disposition. How cool is that. Kind of like just 4 days off for beating the hell out of somone before you even go to court on assualt charges.
We need to find out who the Deputy is. That might explain things further.
I am going to let you have my Handle ACU. You know him very well, he was one of your partners when you guys were one of the “Salts” in R.C. and walked around like king S**T of Turd Island.
ACU I think he was the reason several deputies in Rancho shaved their heads years ago in protest over some issue.
