That is the rumor.  To be more exact, the rumor is that Mark Kirk will be arrested for time card fraud before the Rex Gutierrez case gets underway in a few weeks.  We are also hearing Paul Biane’s arrest is imminent.

These rumors can almost always be traced back to our favorite yellow singing Canary, Confidential Informant No. 1, Mr. Max Factor himself, Adam Aleman.  It seems that every time Mikey has to face bad news he deflects with disinformation through Adam.

We have heard rumors that these two are going to be arrested so many times, we rarely print them any more.  What sets things apart this time is that we have another factor in this.  Jerry Brown needs an arrest made in this county.  He wants Jeff Burum but that is not likely and could get pretty ugly.

We hear from excellent sources that the Attorney General’s office is putting a lot of pressure on Mikey for an arrest or other headline news.  No one says the arrest has to be based on factual information.  We know Judge Duke Rouse will sign anything for Mikey.

So, time will tell whether this rumor proves to be true or more disinformation and threats from Adam.
