Some have told us that it does not matter how San Bernardino County District Attorney Mike Ramos goes about getting convictions against the corruption figures, as long as they are convicted. For some reason there are those who do not have an issue with the district attorney breaking the law to gain a conviction.
As more investigation is being done and discovery trickling in at a snail’s pace, we are learning just how far Ramos will go. No law is safe from Mikey.
Several weeks ago after Lewis Group of Companies Executive Vice President David Lewis committed suicide, we suggested Ramos may have had something to do with the death. We are learning that we were not far off. No, Ramos did not pull the trigger. But Lewis, who already had an issue with drugs and a number of skeletons in his closet, was pressured in a significant way to produce results. We know he tried. Next thing we know, he was dead. Yes, there is mounting evidence to support our claims that we cannot share at this time.
Now, we have a similar set of circumstances with former Assessor Bill Postmus. Postmus also has a serious issue with drugs. And he has an issue he has attempted to keep to himself. Although he was outed a few years ago, anyone who knows Postmus knows that he tries to keep his private life private. It is that knowledge that the District Attorney’s office is now using as leverage against Postmus. They are all but extorting him to commit perjury to get their desired results.
Ramos’ most recent stunt was to release a synopsis of an interview with Postmus’ former confidant Adam Aleman where Aleman describes Postmus’ love life. There is a big problem with that.
Postmus’ love life has nothing to do with the charges against him. Ramos has attempted to publicize it in order to embarrass Postmus. Some would say that’s okay. And they would be wrong. What Mikey is doing is a violation of federal civil rights law.
Many around Postmus are worried he will meet the same end as Lewis. That is how severe the pressure is being put on Postmus by the District Attorney’s office.
Ramos does not care how many laws he must break or how many people are harmed so long as he gets the results that he thinks will save his political career. I got news Mikey! The FBI has your number. There may very well be more casualties, maybe even more deaths, before you are done. But the feds will make sure you go down the hardest.

our DA’s adulterous practices have more import on the condition of this county than Bill’s “proclivities”…and honestly, in this current culture how far does he think he can go with this …..sounds like Bill’s the one with grounds to sue….
When all is said and done, and this case is put to bed, Bill Postmus will be a convicted felon. He may skate on a few charges, but he will see some convictions. All the hatred in the world for Mikey won’t stop it from happening.
Bad (good olde) boyz, bad (good olde) boyz, what you gonna do, what you gonna do when they come for you Mikey, and will you pull Moonbeam in too? Feds, hear this public plea, stop the “selective prostitution” of authority and public resources now, we the people just can’t afford to foot this bill for malfeasance within the “shystem” (shysters running the system) any longer.
Agree with “Here it is”. Postmus is an unfortunate addict that has yet to reach his rock bottom.
Here it is, conviction for under the influence and simple possession, I think your right. Misdemeanor charges.
If Boone Tidwell can dick around for 6 years and plead to a misdemeanor, for possession of an assualt weapon among several other issues, seems fair that Postmus could plead to a misdemeanor charge for possession.
Now if your talking about ALL this other stuff, REALLY?? Please tell Mr.Ramos to quit playing around, pick a jury and “lets gitrdone”.
If Ramos has all this evidence on Postmus, then why and the hell are his PIU investigators playing around with an under the influence charge and looking for a little dope?
I mean hanging out all day for a search warrant for his SUV and they come up with a big ZERO?
Hmmm, we are in the 7 digits figures at this point on the corruption of the century case here in Cow County, and we are spending are valuable time on a little dope. WANT dope go play with the mexican cartel. Mikey’s boys can test out their new machine guns.
Or did Adam Aleman tell the PIU that Postmus had kilo’s in his SUV that he brought down from Idaho?
Hating Mikey is easy to do.
Little Stevie, great reference to the bad boyz song. I love to watch COPS when I work on Catalina Island, have to get up at 3:25 am to get there, and then are too numb to do anything but stare at the TV in my hotel room by the time I get off at 3:30pm.
From behind the camera, it is incredible how stupid these uneducated lowlifes are. How easy it should be to avoid their problems. And why, when caught, do they say the stupidest lies to the police?
But then again, from behind this keyboard, looking at the educated dignitaries…
Interesting difference between the way this investigation has been handled and the now breaking Victorville SEC investigation. I just hope their dirty laundry isn’t played out with Enquirer style headlines so much, regarding the individuals under investigation. At least until after civil law convictions have been proven in a court of law.
Victor Davis Hanson wrote an interesting article on the topic of overzealous, political prosecutions.
