Upcoming Events: The places you need to be

Joe Baca Saturday

Over the last month there has been several indicators that big Joe Baca is scared of Scott and ultimately the wrath of you the voters.

1. Joe responded to a letter Scott wrote criticizing Baca’s diatribe on how great Obama care will be for America. Generally, incumbents do not respond to no name, no money challengers like this unless they are concerned about that persons chances of defeating them.

2. Joe Baca has sent out some campaign volunteers to walk precincts in San Bernardino. While Joe generally walks precincts in a general election, this is the first time he has ever walked precincts in a uncontested primary.

3. Joe Baca’s popularity with the DNC has never been great (remember the whole Sanchez whore comment) and with this year looking like a tough fight for the DNC, the likelihood of the DNC riding in to save him, who they do not like when they desperately need to save people in the party they do like, is not very good.

4. Baca has been consistently criticized by people in letters to the editor in both the Sun and the Press Enterprise for the last several weeks for his views on illegal immigration, cap and trade, and health care.

5. To date our most consistent walkers in our campaign are Democrats who are ready to get rid of Baca (Where are all the Republicans? Are you ashamed yet?)

These are some of the reasons why Joe is scared and in trouble. But we still have a tough fight on our hands and need the help of every patriot in and outside the area. Please contribute, walk, and call to help us take Joe out.

This Saturday, May 15th, 2010 we will be walking Joe Baca’s home precinct. We want to send him the message that we are coming for him! Will you help us send that message? Join us and together we can make Joe look at Folkens yard signs whenever he drives home.

Involvement: Ways you can help Scott

Adopt a Precinct Program

Over the last month there has been several indicators that big Joe Baca is scared of Scott and ultimately the wrath of you the voters.

We need your help getting the message out. Will you help us by adopting a precinct? The 43rd Congressional District has 350 Precincts and we simply are not able to walk each an every one before November. But with you help we can still get the message of limited government and constitutional principles to the voters. You can help us in one of two ways.

1) Adopt a precinct near you or the one you live in if you live in the district. We will provide you with a list of the voters in that precinct that need to be reached and campaign flyers. Between now and November it is you responsibility to reach these voters and make sure they turn out for Scott.
2) Adopt a precinct in the district to make phone calls to Republican and other conservative voters between now and November. In 2006 Joe Baca got a little over 52,000 votes. At the time there was 78,000 Republicans registered. Turn out is key to winning this race. This option is perfect for people who do not live in the district and wish they could help in some way. There are many places in this district which are not safe to walk even in the daytime. But there are still votes in these areas and you can make calls to help convince them to show up big for Scott in November.
We have had several people already work this program with great results. Some are even walking and calling additional precincts but we need more people to help. Can we count on your help?

Throughout the district you may see Folkens4Congress signs on street corners. We plan to erect even more before November. If you see any signs that are vandalized or need to be replaced please contact the campaign through facebook or the website.

  1. Tough choice, a candidate who would consider gays second class citizens.
    Or Joe Baca a candidate who thinks American citizens in general are second class to Mexicans.
