iePolitics: Sheriff’s Internal Affairs, Part 1

I hope to add a little insight on what goes on behind the scenes in the Sheriff’s Department Internal Affairs Division, both for our civilian readers and those un-informed employees, and sorry to say some misinformed ones also.  For those employees who have not been there, I hope you never do, but if that time comes, READ this and think. 

A little history first. Here after Internal Affairs will be referred to as IA.

I should state that everything in this article is my personal opinion based on past experience in dealing with IA investigators, SEBA reps, lawyers and many hours reading case law as it pertains to these issues, and of course speaking with many employees regarding their adventures with those in IA.
