Sources close to the investigation have revealed that San Bernardino County District Attorney Mike Ramos wanted to have arrest warrants issued for all five John Does at the same time that warrants were issued for former Assessor Bill Postmus and former Assistant Assessor Jim Erwin. It was Attorney General Jerry Brown who crushed Ramos’ plan to arrest Colonies Partners Jeff Burum and Dan Richards, consultant Patrick O’Reilly, Fourth District Chief of Staff Mark Kirk and Second District Supervisor Paul Biane. It was also Brown who insisted that they not be personally named in the complaint.
Jerry “the fixer” Brown…keeping a lid on it… less the whole ponzi scheme, that sadly is our government at the peoples work… be exposed….sorry jerry john Q is out ahead of you on this one …now our own AG has grabbed the tarbaby that is SBC politics/corruption…now the fix is in the open…a democrat so-called law dog going to clean-up the county with his trust sidekick.. mr pointy pants himself mike ramos…sharon could you post the office numbers for the FBI…so that the thousands of us that visit the blog, can request a RICO investigation into these matters…
Any ideas how soon we can expect arrests on the John Does? Since Ramos seems to always get what he wants.
Remember, Mikey has to get a judge to sign an arrest warrant. It will be interesting to see if any judge is willing to sign an arrest warrant for some of the most powerful men in San Bernardino County based upon the word of Adam Aleman.
I still say Mike will have his boys grab a couple of those John Does before to long. Maybe Jerry’s hoping one will come forward wanting to make a deal, if Biane didn’t do so already.
Like Sergeant Milstar said, they are looking for another canary to sit next to Aleman.
Was Jeff Burum ever arrested?
