I don’t have much in the way of money to donate, but are any of these underdogs accepting volunteers. If so what is needed?
Absolutely. At least this one is.
The thing that the underdogs need at this point is people to gather signatures. The more signatures that are gathered, the less money we have to pay to file as a candidate. And there’s only about a month left. If you email me at slowcherokee@yahoo.com, I can email you the form and directions.
Later when the election date gets closer (during the last 3 weeks or so), we’ll need people to either make phone calls or knock on doors in your neighborhood of people that have requested absentee ballots. It helps the candidate as is a good way to get to know people in your neighborhood.
I would like to see PDF files of the petitions so we could print our own and sign the ones of the people we want to support. Since ballot initiatives have print yourself petitions, i wonder if they have pdf’s for candidates we want to support.
Yup. I scanned it. I will post it when I get to work tomorrow. Important thing to know is that is has to be front and back printed.

The county will not accept it if it doesn’t conform to their rules:
1) Print it out front and back (1 piece of paper)
2) The signers need to be registered to vote and use the address they registered under – no PO Boxes.
3) The person gathering the signatures has the same requirement and must fill in the section on the back.
Why should we vote for someone to control / Audit our money when he can’t control / Audit his own?
